RFID Consumables

RFID tags are pasted on the books in the library. The tag stores the identity of the item it is attached to, and that data can be rewritten without contact or a direct line of sight. The stored data can identify the item, its ownership, its home location, and its loan status. The tag has no battery. It takes power from the reader signal and can be read together with other tags. Tags are made to be fixed inside books, CDs, DVDs, and tapes.
